Mazda Dealerships NOT to go to!

  • Today's happy place Not in my Mazda
  • Today's Theme Song theme song from the Terminator
  • A funny thing how easy it would have been just to replace the bumper
  • Kiwi's Kitten Campaign kittens CAN drive cars!

Last July, after MUCH research, I decided to purchase a Mazda 5.  I went to many dealerships and finally settled on one I trusted - in Bracebridge, Ontario.   When I went to pick up my NEW Mazda 5, it had a scratch on the front bumper.  The Dealership assured me that it could easily be buffed out.

SO - two weeks later I brought it back on a Saturday and waiting for it to be "buffed out".  I should have said "NOOOOOOO!"  when I saw the teenaged "body shop" worker they had.......he BONDO'ED my WHOLE FRONT BUMBER!   thus making one small scratch - into a BIG DEAL.  The paint job was so bad on the bumper, the paint was running and had spray marks on it.

SO - two weeks after that - I brought it back.......the dealer WOULD NOT give me a new bumper to replace the one they had destroyed.  Again - they claimed that the could make it right.  So - I let them.  They sent it to another body shop.  They did their work....but guess what?

After one winter - ALL THE PAINT ON MY BUMPER IS PEELING!

The General Manger of that dealership didn't do what he was supposed to, to make a customer happy.  You know - we went in wanting to buy two cars......but based on how Mazda Canada has treated me after spending my hard earned $$ on their product....they've lost another sale. .....

I wonder what sort of efforts Mazda Canada or the dealership will do to make it right......this time?
